For more than a decade, he has been working with many major companies and organizations in the Nordics regarding their AI challenges. Significant part of his work has concentrated on scaling up AI from experiments to complete productionalized systems.

    Jesse Saarela is a Principal at NordicNinja, a Japanese backed VC helping Northern European startups scale globally with the help of our international network. He is particularly excited to work with teams that are disrupting the enterprise software space including topics such as AI, fintech and logistics. Before NordicNinja Jesse worked several years in financial advisory both in London and Finland.

    Mirva is a seasoned developer with expertise in e-commerce, digital service development, and marketing, gained from both Finnish and international companies. She works for Digital Commerce Finland, a company dedicated to accelerating the development and growth of digital commerce across Finland.

    Project Coordinator, Refufin-Project, House of Helsinki

    Nikolay Gofman is the REFUFIN Project Coordinator at House of Helsinki ry, leading efforts to support Ukrainian protection seekers in Finland through a volunteer program. In 2022, as a volunteer, he helped transport nearly 4,000 Ukrainians to Finland. Now, as a full time employee, he focuses on developing volunteer programs, creating training for crisis support, and assisting volunteers in skill development and burnout prevention. His work promotes the integration of immigrants into Finnish society through volunteering.
